Creative Hookery

This post is exactly like the title says, in the middle of the night written.  Today on the second day of January I discovered Reddit Today or better said yesterday on the second day of 2023 I sat on reddit, and commented and posted, and got banned for spamming 😑, and posted  posts that were appreciated and commented, made some  failures too, posted not begginer friendly posts.  I am so excited about this, I  Look exactly like my 3 years old boys when they receive something that they wanted for a long time ( long time for small children usually means like 5 minutes more or less). I am so happy that now I can help other that want to learn to knitt and crochet. It's  such an empowering feeling, knowing  that you can help others. Thank you my dear reader, I am grateful that you made time to read this midnight post. Many kisses from your one and only Katy.

My mother taught me how to knitt. The moment I made my first headband I was so happy, so excited and I started knitting all my dolls something to wear. Sitting next to my mom and both knitting was such a beautiful way to bound. I remember those moments, they were so beautiful and deep. Than I went on vacation to my grandma and she taught me how to crochet, and sat and  bounded with her too. Such beautiful moments and memories.  This days came so fast the moment when I realized that I will definitely have an apprentice in my daughter.  Today's post is about teaching other and about the joy that comes with.  

     Let's start with the stereotype that stops many of you from crocheting, that is :" OH only old ladies are crocheting " or " Crocheting is just for grannies ".    The answer to all this negative thinking is to start trying, so we arrive to our first reason  1. Relaxing      If you don't try something out, you won't know if you love it or not.    Thinking back to your childhood you remember that your 70 years old grandma or a 70-80 years old ladies were always busy with their yarn,their hooks or their knitting needles.     Let's start here , this is the first reason and the most important reason, that is: crocheting is relaxing.       Now that we nailed the dot on the i, we arrived to the second reason, that is: 2. Improves your health        There are so many articles and scientific research that shows a life with less stress brings a longer life and a healthier life....
